Hundreds Detained in Iran

Most of these people are scholars and people of social influence in one way or another and have, at some points, been critical of Ahmadinejad. The arrests are happening "quietly". It looks like the government is positioning itself for a very serious crack down on civil disobedience. Iran's Supreme Leader gives a sermon Sunday. Something tells me he is not going to be magnanimous or forgiving in his words. If anything I expect rhetoric about the evils of disobedience in the eyes of god or something to that effect to foreshadow what will probably result in violence against protesters. Sunday is going to be a day to watch closely.
